Working hours apply to all representatives of the Standardization & Metrology Organization(SMO), with the exception of: 1. Those working on the procedures (Data leakage and inspection) in Aqaba Area 4 and Passenger Terminals will work 24/7. 2. Representatives of the Corporation at the Customs Center of Queen Alia International Airport (express shipping) work 24/7. 3. Representatives of SMO working in all procedures except (data leakage and inspecting of goods) in Aqaba, work Friday 8:00-14:00.

Additional information
The goods are taken out of the customs center under an undertaking not to act and transfer the declaration to the blue lane to allow it to exit until the results of the examination appears or the required documents are completed after matching the apparent sensory examination, and the pledge is to transfer the statement to the blue lane as (there is no written pledge or any information given to the merchant ) only turning the lane to blue.
In case of using the goods in violation of Jordanian specification standard or the Jordanian technical rules, the provisions of prohibition and restriction stipulated in customs law No. 20 of 1998 and its amendments or in the legislation in force shall be applied.
The provisions of the standards and metrology law No.22 of 2000 and its amendments are also applied. Article 34a point 14.
In case of using the goods in violation of Jordanian specification standard or the Jordanian technical rules, the provisions of prohibition and restriction stipulated in customs law No. 20 of 1998 and its amendments or in the legislation in force shall be applied.
