Article icles69-72
Additional information
- The customs inspection is to ensure the conformity of goods with what is declared on the customs declaration.
- The inspection must reflect the state of the goods with the owners permit and the accompanying documents attached to it, as well as supervising the withdrawal of physical samples, photos, videos, or other samples for analysis, whether it was for operations unit, the customs laboratory, or any other party that requires the completion of the declaration to be presented.
- The inspection is conducted inside the customs area and is done simultaneous by the employees of the Customs Department and other departments in the presence of the merchant or his representative. The inspection is conducted on the goods as a whole, and in accordance to the selectivity criteria and risk management for each department.
- The red lane declaration inspection is conducted at the designated locations for inspection
When inspecting the red lane the National Windows Operation unit's notes on the targeted items on the invoice and the archived documents on the ASYCUDA System are all taken into account. Should there be conformity, the inspector then authorizes the results electronically
