-Manifest: A document listing cargo that is transported by air or by sea.
-The manifest includes general information about the means of transportion and the cargo in terms of quantity, weight, destination, trademarks, numbers and names of the beneficiaries.
1. According to the instructions of the National Window, the shipping agent registers the electronic manifest before or upon the departure of the transportation vehicle from its last port of contact prior to the arrival port, or prior to the deadline specified during the registration of the declaration and according to instructions issued by the Director General of Customs (and this is considered a permit according to the requirements of the customs law enforcement).
2. The direct modifications to the manifest by shipping agents are stopped, therefore the shipping agent must submit an electronic request to the National Window for any amendment to the Airway Bill information. The request is received and studied by the manifest department, and the request is answered electronically, either by acceptance or rejection.
4 The traffic control tower at the airport records the movements of the airplanes as they enter the airspace, this allows the customs to organize the airplane manifest according to the appropriate lane depending on the declaration.
