It is requested only if the importer's card needs to be renewed The Ministry for the Customs Department submits the inquiry electronically using a complete electronic system
If the concerned party wishes to authorize another person to carry out the process of issuing or renewing the importer’s card, a signed authorization letter or guarantee must be available

Written authorization from the owner to the applicant (an authentic copy)
Commercial registration is signed by the authorized person and certified by one of the Chambers of Commerce or Industry or approved banks, provided that the date of confirmation does not exceed 15 days before the date of submitting the application

Public or private import agency (an authentic copy)
A duplicate of the original general or private power of attorney document, provided that it is import specific, certified, and the date of ratification does not exceed ninety days prior to the date of submitting the application

Additional information
The recipient first fills out the service application, after which he must go to the Amman Chamber of Commerce office or the Amman Chamber of Industry and then to the Greater Amman Municipality office followed by the Income and Sales Tax Department to verify the importer’s data (note that these offices are located in the same location)
