Additional information
A contract is made with a shipping company, whether it is a sea or air carrier, through which the goods are transported from the country of export to the country of import. The freight charges are paid according to the agreed shipping contract and payment method between the owner of the goods and the shipping company
This step depends on the way the merchant purchases his goods in accordance with the internationally approved purchase methods (Incoterms), such as the price includes all expenses from the moment of receiving the goods in the factory (EX Works), or that the price includes freight charges only without insurance (C and F) or that it includes insurance ( CIF) or other shipping agreements that take place according to the way the merchant purchases his goods from the source.
The government requirement here is only to indicate the purchase method on the purchase invoice or any other mechanism for the purpose of calculating the value of the goods only.
The merchant should be responsible for carrying out the procedures himself, if the merchant is not capable, a signed authorization letter from the merchant must be available.
The shipping country / navigation agent or the aircraft captain shall register the electronic manifest on the ASYCUDA System/the Jordanian customs department before or when the ship departs the last port that precedes the port of Aqaba or the last plane from the last airport before Jordan, and in other cases according to deadlines specified for registration and declaration. Instructions issued in accordance with His Excellency, the director general of Jordanian customs ( this is considered a declaration with the requirements of the customs effective) and accordingly direct modifications on the manifest will be stopped
