Goods are inspected when they are deposited or taken out, a simultaneous and joint inspection between the customs and the storage directorate( Aqaba Economic Zone).
The deposit and exit of goods in sites, special areas and logistic centers are supervised by the employees of the directorate of storage (Aqaba Economic Zone) in accordance with these instructions.
It is allowed to deposit foreign goods of whatever type or origin without certificate of origin, import licence, examination or laboratory analysis, and limiting the request for customs approved documents when the goods are taken out.
There is an electronic link between the customs systems and the duty free systems to obtain the electronic output document.
