Additional information
How to apply for a product conformity certificate through the Saber platform:
The importing party (company/factory) in Saudi Arabia submits a product conformity request through the Saber platform via the website www.saber.sa.
If applicant chooses the Jordanian Standards and Metrology Organization as the conformity assessment body, then the exporter must communicate with the employees in charge of conformity certificates.
- The application is received by the "Conformity Certificates Directorate/Conformity Certification Department" and the charges incurred become available for payment by the importer (company/manufacturer) in Saudi Arabia.
Note: The product's customs coordinator code (HS Code) must be entered correctly during the application process to be listed under the appropriate technical regulation.
The product's customs codes (HS Code) can be viewed on the Saudi Customs Authority website at the following link:
https://www.customs.gov.sa/customsTariffSearch
The technical regulation that allocates a specific customs code / specific product code can be identified through the Saber platform website via the following link:
https://saber.sa/home/hscodes
