Procedures for obtaining a product conformity certificate:
1- To contact the Standards and Metrology Organization and receive the application call (0096265301225) and request the Product Conformity Certificates Department, or visit the Product Conformity Certificates Department at the organization.
2- The exporter of the goods must submit all the required documents to the organization, according to the technical regulation requirements in order for the product to be issued a product conformity certificate.
3- Some products need to receive an evaluation that is conducted at a factory and/or an inspection of samples needs to be taken of the products by the inspectors of the Product Conformity Certificates Department or an authorized representative to evaluate if the products are within the requirements of technical regulations or up to the standard specifications.
4- If the product has its own standard specifications and can be tested, it is transferred to the relevant laboratory at the directorate and the service recipient is obligated to pay the examination fees.
5- After completing all the requirements, and the results of the examination comply with the standard specification of the product, the product will be approved and a product conformity certificate is issued electronically on the Saber platform, the exporter will then receive a hard copy, and once the certificate fees are paid the importer in Saudi Arabia will be informed electronically through the platform that the certificate has been issued
