Additional information
1- The Customs Declaration documents, and any other required documents are checked by the Standards and Metrology Organization. The contents are taken to the customs yards according to the selective system for the purposes of inspection.
2- If there is a need for further clarification or if additional verification documents are requested to proceed with the declaration procedure, at that point the concerned parties and clearance companies are contacted electronically.
3- If the lane is red (examination), 15 tile samples are withdrawn for examination and 15 tiles are taken as a precaution, after which the goods are released with a no-action guarantee until the results of the examination are issued by the Royal Scientific Society or any accredited laboratory.
4- In the case of the yellow lane (inspection), the attached documents are verified and matched with the incoming goods, in addition to checking the label and according to the requirements of Jordanian Standard No. (374).
