Additional information
The Certificates of Conformity Department is responsible for granting certificates of conformity for products such as; the Jordanian Quality Mark Certificate, Certificates of Conformity for Export Purposes, Halal Certificate, Good Agricultural Practices Certificate, Shamsi Certificate and Organic Production Certificate. The department works according to the international standard "ISO/IEC 17065:2012" that specifies the requirements of granting certificates of conformity for products. This has led the department to obtain an international accreditation from the German Accreditation Authority (DAkkS) for the Jordanian Quality Mark Certificate and issuing Certificates of Conformity for the olive oil sector, paints and detergents sector, and in granting a certificate of good agricultural practices (GLOBAL GAP).
