The cost of obtaining a conformity certificate is as follows:
JOD 20.0000 Certificate issuance fees for Jordanian products.
JOD 5.0000 for each additional copy of the certificate for Jordanian products.
JOD 100.0000 Certificate issuance fees for non-Jordanian products.
JOD 20.0000 for each additional copy of the certificate for non-Jordanian products.
JOD 10.0000 inspection fees.
JOD 10.0000 examination fees.
JOD 5.0000 Any further amendments made to the same certificate issued to any Jordanian product.
JOD 10.0000 Any further amendments on the same certificate issued for any non-Jordanian product.
JOD 16% Sales Tax.
1 - If the product has its own standard specifications and can be tested, it is transferred to the relevant laboratory and the service recipient is obligated to pay the examination fees.
2 - The applicant will be informed should there be any discrepancies in the copy of the declaration.
3 - Should the service recipient want to file a grievance against the decision to grant the certificate, he must pay 50 dinars. In the event the committee responds to the grievance and accepts it the Standards and Metrology Organization pays the fees.
