Working hours apply to all representatives of the Standardization & Metrology Organization(SMO), with the exception of: 1. Those working on the procedures (Data leakage and inspection) in Aqaba Area 4 and Passenger Terminals will work 24/7. 2. Representatives of the Corporation at the Customs Center of Queen Alia International Airport (express shipping) work 24/7. 3. Representatives of SMO working in all procedures except (data leakage and inspecting of goods) in Aqaba, work Friday 8:00-14:00.

The process is completed based on the results of the inspection/feedback from the Verification, Reporting and Anti-counterfeit unit on the trademarks /feedback of the Verification, Reporting and Anti-counterfeit unit on the documentation of conformity conducted by the representatives of the Standards and Metrology Organization that are present at the Customs Center. Should the results of the inspection be satisfactory, the declaration is uploaded electronically and the lane becomes green, in the case of unsatisfactory results (violation) the merchant is required to re-export or dispose of the goods Upon approval of the Ministry of Environment for product disposal and once the re-exporting or disposal process is completed and the fees are paid the declaration will be transferred to the green lane
