- The goods are released from the customs center with a no-action guarantee and it is transferred to the blue lane, allowing it to exit until the results of the inspection are released or the required documents are completed, or after verifying the physical examination. There is no guarantee after transferring the lane to blue as there is no (written commitment or any information given to the merchant) "only that the lane is transferred to blue."
Goods may be entered and transported from one place to another in or through the Kingdom, with the deferral of payment of customs duties and other taxes and fees In these circumstances, guarantees such as bank guarantees, or guaranteed pledges are required to secure fees and taxes in cash, in accordance with the instructions issued by the Director.
This means that the released goods are not to be disposed of before the results of the inspection come out. Contrary to provisions of prohibition and restriction stipulated in the law or in the legislation force, if the violation is upon standards or technical rules without having an impact on human's safety or health even if the fees are paid, the fine in this case shall not be less than 500 dinars.
In case of using the goods in violation of Jordanian specification standard or the Jordanian technical rules, the provisions of prohibition and restriction stipulated in customs law No. 20 of 1998 and its amendments or in the legislation in force shall be applied.
The provisions of the standards and metrology law No.22 of 2000 and its amendments are also applied. Article 34a point 14.
