Additional information
A contract is made with a licensed transport company in case of an import by sea or air, according to what is agreed upon by the merchant and company transporting of the goods to the merchant’s warehouses.
Some merchants have their own trucks therefore there is no need to contract a freight transport company.
If the import is by land and it does not have a contract with a transportation company on the trucks from the exporting country (it is automatically implied with a contract with the shipping company that shipped the goods and transported them into the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan).
If the goods are coming in on trucks from Aqaba into the Kingdom must take a turn upon entry into Aqaba by a company that arranges the truck order (Nafith), it is not possible to select a truck through the company that arranges the truck order at the entrance gate of Aqaba unless an electronic transport document is issued, and is sent to Nafith. After that, the clearance company visits Nafith's the electronic system, chooses a transport company, and obtains a truck for the internal transportation of goods.
