Working hours apply to all representatives of the Standardization & Metrology Organization(SMO), with the exception of: 1. Those working on the procedures (Data leakage and inspection) in Aqaba Area 4 and Passenger Terminals will work 24/7. 2. Representatives of the Corporation at the Customs Center of Queen Alia International Airport (express shipping) work 24/7. 3. Representatives of SMO working in all procedures except (data leakage and inspecting of goods) in Aqaba, work Friday 8:00-14:00.

The samples are sent to the Royal Scientific Society laboratory or JSMO's labs by representatives of the Standards and Metrology Organization at the customs centers within a period of time from 55 minutes to 7 working hours.
Where the goods are released to the merchant’s warehouses in return for a customs no action guarantee to dispose of them or part of them, or with a financial guarantee in the event that the merchant is on the blacklist or if the goods bear registered or known trademarks, until the results of the examination appear and all required procedures are completed.
