Additional information
Manifest: - A document listing cargo that is transported by air or by sea.
The manifest includes general information about the means of transportion and the cargo in terms of quantity, weight, destination, trademarks, numbers and names of the beneficiaries.
1. According to the instructions of the National Window, the shipping agent registers the electronic manifest before or upon the departure of the transportation vehicle from its last port of contact prior to the arrival port, or prior to the deadline specified during the registration of the declaration and according to instructions issued by the Director General of Customs (and this is considered a permit according to the requirements of the customs law enforcement).
2. Shipping Agents can no longer make direct modifications to the manifest. If any further amendments are needed to the policy information, the shipping agent must submit an electronic request to the National Window, which is then received and studied by the Manifest Department and the approval or rejection is sent electronically.
3 The Maritime Authority registers the vessel’s information upon entering the territorial waters on the ASYCUDA world system, this allows the customs declaration lane to be prepared within the vessel’s manifest, in accordance with the selectivity criteria of the Customs Department, which determines the declaration lanes (red, yellow, green).
