Remote work procedures at airport customs clearance
Additional information
On behalf of the shipping agents, the airport operator (Royal Jordanian), sends the manifest electronically on the ASYCUDA world system and it is placed under storage status, it is completed upon departure of the aircraft from the last airport bound for Jordan.
The manifest employee in charge searches the stored manifests on ASYCUDA and studies them. If there are manifests that are accepted, the employee registers them, if there are manifests that are not accepted due to errors, the employee in charge must contact Royal Jordanian immediately through any approved means of communication and send the correct manifest.
Manifest: - A document listing cargo that is transported by air or by sea.
The manifest includes general information about the means of transportion and the cargo in terms of quantity, weight, destination, trademarks, numbers and names of the beneficiaries.
