Additional information
- The customs inspection is to ensure the conformity of goods with what is declared on the customs declaration.
- During inspection the goods must be reflected in the concerned party's permit and all corresponding documents.
-The inspection is conducted simultaneously by employees of the customs department, the inspection department and the Standards and Metrology Organization, in the presence of the merchant or his representative and the Royal Jordanian employee at the Customs area (Amman warehouse - airport customs clearance). The inspection is conducted on the goods as a whole, and in accordance to the selectivity criteria and risk management for each department. It takes place at the current clearing house and after the inspection is completed and the goods have been weighed, they are kept at the Royal Jordanian Safe Box until all the procedures have been completed at the customs clearance center
