Wheat is considered one of Jordan's strategic commodities. The Ministry of Industry, Trade & Supply imports 60% of the targeted supply and allows merchants to import the remaining 40% supply.
If there is an expired importer card, the Customs Department is contacted to identify the depleted balance on the previous license.
