Additional information
1- The customs declaration documents and prior licenses are reviewed by the Ministry of Agriculture, according to the electronic items. The contents are then released from the customs yards (Square 4 in the Aqaba Customs Center) according to the selective system for the purposes of inspection, sampling or detection, and then the declaration maybe authorized.
2- In the case of the yellow lane, the goods are subject to inspection by the Ministry of Agriculture; in the case of the red lane, the contents are subject to a laboratory testing and the goods are released, provided that there is a no action guarantee until the final analysis result come out.
3- Samples are withdrawn by the Ministry of Agriculture and sent to approved laboratories, and the goods are released with a no-action guarantee until the results of the testing come out.
Note: In the event that the goods are loaded onto containers, the inspection is done in yard 4 at the Aqaba Customs Center by the representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture. However, if the goods are in bulk they will undergo curbside inspection by a committee comprised of representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, JFDA and Customs
