Additional information
All goods incoming to the customs of the clearance airport are custom lead sealed in the presence of (the merchant/or his representative, the concerned customs officer, two Royal Jordanian employees responsible for opening the Safe Box and the representative of the Standards and Metrology Organization) for the purpose of preserving the goods as they are until they reach JSMO.
The representative of JSMO at the airport customs clearance, upon completion of the customs sealing process by the customs department employees, puts the special explanations and lead numbers to be transferred to the JSMO.
The merchant or his representative receives the authorized goods and transfers them to the Standards and Metrology Organization. Within a period not exceeding 24 hours.
