Additional information
The merchant or his representative must deliver the goods to the receiving department at the Standards and Metrology Organization within a maximum of 24 hours from making the customs guarantee so it can be examined and stamped.
The Head of the Receiving and Samples Processing Department verifies the information and explanations received from the representative of the Standards and Metrology Organization in the customs center of the airport, and makes sure that the weight is according to what is stated in the invoice and the customs declaration. The representative also works on weighing the quantities and issuing a statement of deposit in three copies and handing it over to the merchant for payment at the finance department.
The statement consists of three sheets of paper (white, red, green), one for the receiving department, one for the merchant, and the third for the finance department
