ويعرف الابراء حسب ما نصت المادة 90 من قانون الجمارك أنه تبرأ الكفالات المصرفية والتعهدات المكفولة وترد الرسـوم والضرائب المؤمنة استنادا إلى شهادات الإبراء وفق الشروط التي يحددها المدير.
عند وصول البضائع الى مركز الخروج يتم ما يلي:-
- يقوم موظف الابراء في مركز الخروج باحتساب مهلة التجاوز.
- يقوم موظف الابراء بتدقيق البيان الجمركي والوثائق المرفقة به.
- يقوم موظف الابراء بالتحقق من أن البيان منجز ولا يوجد عليه أي تعهد وتم استكمال كافة الاجراءات.
- يقوم موظف الابراء بالتأكد من وجود ختم مدقق الرقابة الداخلية على البيان الجمركي.
- يقوم موظف الابراء بثبيت حركة الكترونية على النظام وبناء عليها يتم رد الكفالات المحجوزة على البيان.
