Additional information
The customs declaration is considered finalized upon completion of the following important stages:
1- Obtaining an electronic authentication from the procedures officer, after validating the customs declaration with the attachments and ensuring that the requirements are met.
2- Obtaining the approval of the customs tariff officer, after validating the customs tariff of the goods and ensuring that the requirements for implementing the agreements, if any, are met.
3- Obtaining the electronic authentication from the valuation officer, once the customs value is approved according to the customs valuation structure.
4- Once all requirements are met, the customs declaration is cleared by the head of the unit.
5- The entry employee issues temporary admissions for declarations that have guarantees and exemptions as well as for the declarations and documents that require electronic explanations. An exit permit will not be issued for these types of customs declaration if the electronic explanations are not available.
6- The employee of the follow-up unit at the National Windows Operation confirms the auditing and authenticity of the archived documents compared to the printed documents. An exit permit for goods is not issued if this step is not recorded on the declaration
