Second: The goods are inspected and the contents are matched in terms of type and item with the attached invoice.
Third: The goods are physically inspected to make sure that there are no violations in the label of the product. It is possible that the inspection can be done simultaneously with the customs inspection.
Fourth: Samples are withdrawn for the technical testing of the product according to the Jordanian standard or the Jordanian technical rule for the product and sent for testing through the Organization's driver to one of the laboratories approved by the Organization in Jordan in the event that the customs declaration lane of JSMO (red according to the instructions for taking and handling samples and collecting fees) Transportation of samples at a value of 11.60 dinars) to all customs centers except for the Aqaba customs center, 23.20 dinars are collected as fees for transporting samples, and the goods are taken out with a customs pledge provided that they are not disposed of until the declaration is completed unless the name in the importer card is included in the black list or it includes registered trademarks Or a famous one, then it is seized in the customs center, or it is agreed to take it out with a pledge against a financial guarantee in the event that there is a technical examination report for the product from an accredited external laboratory that is verified through the Verification and Reporting Unit at the Standards and Metrology Organization. Verification fees of 23.60 dinars are collected for each report
Fifth: In the event that the goods bear a registered or famous trademark or were received from an unreliable source, the validity of the trademark shall be verified through the Verification and Reporting Unit at the Standards and Metrology Organization, according to trademark verification procedures to protect intellectual property rights.
Sixth: In the event that the result of the technical testing is conformed after being evaluated by the representative of JSMO in the customs center, and the result of the verification of the trademark is original, the shipment shall be paid and its lane is converted to green.
Seventh: In the event that the result of the technical testing does not conform, the recommendation shall be made not to enter (re-export or destroy the goods, with the right of the merchant to re-examine the technical testing if he wishes to do so within one month from the first examination).
Eighth: In the event that the trademark is not original (a counterfeit), it shall be rejected by not entering (re-exporting or destroying), and fines shall be collected instead of counterfeiting for each item proven to be counterfeit, with a value of 232 dinars.
