المعاينة الجمركية هي مطابقة البضائع مع ما تم التصريح عنه على البيان الجمركي
على المعاينة ان تعكس واقع البضاعة مع تصريح صاحب العلاقة والوثائق المرفقة به
الإضافة للإشراف على سحب عينات حسية و/أو صور وفيديو و/أو عينات للتحليل، سواء لوحدات العمليات أو مختبر الجمارك أو أي جهة أخرى يتطلب إنجاز البيان عرضها عليها.
تكون المعاينة متزامنة من قبل موظفي دائرة الجمارك ومندوبي الدوائر الأخرى وداخل الحرم الجمركي حسب معايير الانتقائيه وادارة المخاطر لكل طرف، على البضاعة بشكل كلي أو جزئي وبحضور التاجر أومن ينوب عنه.
يتم معاينة البيانات ذات المسرب الأحمر في المواقع المخصصة للمعاينة.
